Below are the terms under which Maddie B Aesthetics Skin Atelier provides services to its clients. Please ensure you have read and fully understood them before booking any treatments or procedures at Maddie B Aesthetics.

1. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ALL CLIENTS

1.1 These terms and conditions constitute the agreement between the client (you/your) and Maddie B Aesthetics (us/our).

1.2 Please carefully read these terms along with our privacy policy and feel free to ask any questions you may have.

1.3 By registering with us, you agree to abide by these terms.

2. TERMS RELATING TO THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC

We are monitoring the coronavirus situation closely and following government advice, updating our policies regularly. For current government guidance, please visit the official government website.

We have implemented additional safety measures in our treatment rooms to ensure your safety is our priority. We have assessed potential impacts on the ability to complete treatment courses and have protocols for extending these courses if needed. If you anticipate difficulty completing your treatment course, please consult our clinic manager for further guidance. Rest assured, your treatments are protected and can be completed even if delayed.

3. APPOINTMENTS, DEPOSITS, AND CANCELLATIONS

3.1 Full or partial payment is required when booking an appointment. If you cancel without giving at least 48 hours' notice, we may retain part or all of the payment as specified in sub-clause 3.2.

3.2 We cannot reserve or guarantee any specific date, time, or therapist unless an appointment is booked.

3.3 If you anticipate being late for an appointment, please contact us. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in your appointment being treated as a cancellation without notice, subject to charges under sub-clause 3.5.

3.4 You may reschedule an appointment without charge if you provide at least 48 hours' notice.

3.5 Deposits for cancelled appointments are non-refundable.

3.6 In exceptional circumstances (e.g., illness, accidents, bereavement), if you reschedule without 48 hours' notice, we may, at our discretion, waive any late cancellation charges.

3.7 We may cancel your appointment before the scheduled time if the required practitioner or materials are unavailable, or due to events beyond our control. In such cases, we will refund any advance payments, but not for other expenses incurred (e.g., travel, accommodation).

3.8 We strive to start appointments on time but delays may occur. If your appointment is delayed by at least 30 minutes, you may reschedule.

4. FEES AND PAYMENT

4.1 Payment is required according to our price list from the point of making your booking up to completion of services.

4.2 Payments can be made by credit/debit card (excluding Amex), cash, gift voucher, or bank transfer.

4.3 Price changes may occur without notice, but increases will not affect already booked appointments.

4.4 We do not store credit card information and will never ask for it.

5. GIFT VOUCHERS

5.1 Gift vouchers are available at the clinic reception.

5.2 Vouchers are valid for the period specified on them.

5.3 Vouchers can only be redeemed for treatments at the clinic and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5.4 Vouchers are for the recipient or purchaser only.

6. ELIGIBILITY FOR TREATMENT

6.1 We may refuse treatment if it is deemed unsuitable or unlikely to be successful.

6.2 No treatments will be provided to individuals under 18 years old. Proof of age may be required.

6.3 Treatments are not available to pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, or those with certain medical conditions or on specific medications.

6.4 We will not provide any treatment that conflicts with laws, codes of practice, or regulations.

7. TREATMENT COURSE DISCOUNTS

7.1 Full payment is required in advance for treatment courses.

7.2 Treatments (excluding laser hair removal) must be used within 12 months of purchase. Unused treatments will be forfeited.

7.3 Courses are non-refundable and non-transferable.

7.4 In the case of severe or terminal medical conditions, we may refund the balance of a treatment course.

7.5 No refunds or transfers are offered for temporary side effects or rare complications.

7.6 The cost of a single treatment is double that of a course of treatments.

8. BOTULINUM TOXIN TOP-UP/REVIEWS

8.1 Complimentary review appointments are offered after Botulinum Toxin treatments. Additional 'top-up' treatments may be provided if clinically required.

8.2 Top-ups must be taken 2-3 weeks after the initial treatment. No top-ups will be provided outside this period.

9. DERMAL FILLER TOP-UPS

9.1 Dermal filler top-ups are chargeable.

10. VALUE PACK COURSES

10.1 Value packs such as BTL courses cannot be refunded but can be exchanged for alternative treatments.

11. CHILDREN

11.1 Children under 16 are not permitted at the clinic unless supervised by an appropriate adult.

11.2 Children are not allowed in treatment rooms. Failure to provide a chaperone will result in appointment cancellation.

12. MOBILE PHONES

Please ensure mobile phones are switched off or silenced during your visit. Unauthorized videography will be deleted.

13. REFUNDS

13.1 Efforts will be made to ensure the best possible outcome, but results cannot be guaranteed.

13.2 Treatment fees are non-refundable for sub-optimal results or complications.

14. PRODUCT REFUNDS

14.1 Products are non-refundable unless faulty.

14.2 Faulty products must be assessed at the clinic before a refund is processed.

15. RISK OF CLINICAL COMPLICATIONS

15.1 While we strive for satisfactory outcomes, no clinical procedure is risk-free and results cannot be guaranteed.

15.2 Possible complications will be discussed during your consultation and documented.

15.3 In case of complications requiring urgent attention, you may need to travel to another clinic.

15.4 We will manage most complications, but further treatment may be necessary at additional cost.

16. EQUIPMENT SAFETY

If any equipment is found to be faulty, appointments will be rescheduled for your safety.

17. DOCUMENTS AND RECORDS

17.1 All patients must complete a registration form and provide contact details.

17.2 A medical questionnaire must be completed at the first appointment.

17.3 Medical questionnaires must be reviewed and updated at each appointment.

17.4 Consent forms must be signed before treatment.

17.5 We maintain records for each patient.

17.6 You may request copies of your records for a reasonable fee.

17.7 Non-disclosure of medical conditions releases Maddie B Aesthetics from liability.

18. MENTAL HEALTH AND AESTHETICS

18.1 Patients should have realistic expectations and focus on improvement rather than perfection.

18.2 Discuss any history of mental health disorders with your practitioner.

18.3 Psychological effects of treatments cannot be predicted.

19. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

19.1 Personal information is collected, processed, and held in accordance with GDPR.

20. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

20.1 Maddie B Aesthetics Ltd is not liable for economic loss or indirect damage.

20.2 Clients must provide relevant medical details. We are not liable for damage from undisclosed information.

20.3 Clients must follow aftercare instructions. We are not liable for failure to do so.

20.4 Liability for death or personal injury is not excluded or limited.

21. FEEDBACK

We appreciate all feedback to improve our services. Submit feedback verbally, in writing, via email, social media, or our website.

22. COMPLAINTS

We welcome complaints to improve your experience. Contact the clinic manager in person, by phone, email, or post. Our Complaints Policy is available on request.

23. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We may update these Terms and Conditions without notice. The latest version will be available on our website.

24. NO WAIVER

Delay in exercising any rights does not waive those rights. Waiver of one breach does not waive subsequent breaches.

25. SEVERANCE

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid.

26. LAW AND JURISDICTION

26.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of England & Wales.

26.2 Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.

27. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

27.1 These Terms and Conditions supersede all previous agreements.

27.2 No reliance on statements not set out in these Terms and Conditions.

28. THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS

28.1 These Terms and Conditions do not confer rights to third parties.

29. SOCIAL MEDIA CONSENT

29.1 With your consent, we may use your image for promotional purposes.
